    Oneida or Cayuga trip

Looking for some thoughts on a camp/fishing trip to either Oneida Lake or Cayuga in May. Going for bass so what would you recommend?

I'd say Oneida if you want smallmouth and Cayuga if you want largemouth, but each has the other. Keep them pickerel. Filet like a walleye, cut out fat/brown meat, run through grinder and find a crab cake recipe. They are amazing, and there's a lot in both of them lakes.
