I'm buying ... extra groceries, household supplies, garden seeds, etc.
Enjoy shopping though, don't let the market collapse deter you at all.

I'm happier when it is collapsing. You can actually buy something at reasonable values with decent yields. I'm hoping HD gets down in the low 200's and LRCX gets down to 400. In another few months we will be able to buy treasuries and cds at some really decent yields as well. All of this was long overdue. This is actually more normal.

I added to FB, but for the most part I have been just watching. It's something watching some of these stocks get cut in half. With the Fed tightening, and possible recession this year or next, We could be looking at a generational bottom sometime in the next year or two. If the Fed is able dramatically reduce it's balance sheet, and raise rates significantly, when the Fed reverses course, it could be an epic bull market. And I'm gonna be ready for it.

We don't mind a retracting market. We do mind a big dumpster fire.
Have at it. We will sit out and keep our very conservative positions now.
Maybe, we will play among the titans in 2024-2025, but only maybe.

Zero cases of successfully tackling smoking inflation & rapid growth.
Every single instance has ended in a crumpled heap or totally in orbit.
And with COVID, a major war, hyperpolitics, etc. we don't feel lucky.

Perfect time to buy. People are like sheep. They always buy when times are good and sell at a loss when they panic. Embrace the chaos because nobody ever bought at a good value following the herd. I'm glad this is happening. All the stupid money is about to get s crewed buying at dumb prices. Real estate is next.

What do you think about ROKU? pretty close to the bottom. Does ROKU have a chance to come back or stays in mediocre land?
