A few from yesterday with a couple of surprises ….

A bit on the cool side & breezy. Got a couple of trout, first one on a 3/8 oz lipless crank which was a first for me. It absolutely blasted it. Trout are a pretty decent fight, even these little 10”-11” stockers and are aggressive toward bigger baits. Found a huge nest of crappie that was good for about 20 or so. No big pans today, it’s still a bit early for them but it’s getting close. Once again the little Rebel Raider twitch bait was very productive.

Fish a local pond with private boat ramp in the fall and always seem to catch at least one trout on a 1/2oz lipless bait.
