Went to visit and just walk around there about two weeks ago as I had some time to kill. I noticed a boat ramp and it looked like it was electric motor only. Was curious if the fishing there was decent in case I find myself back there with a fishing rod. Also do they rent Jon boats or anything there in the warmer months?
Are you talking about Potato Creek State Park near South Bend? It is electric only, but you can use a gas powered boat as long as you don’t fire it up. I have caught some ok bass in there, lots of panfish, and it has wipers too. I believe the beach area has paddle boats and such for rent in the summer.
