    Spinnerbait recommendations?

    Hello,

I am looking for a good spinnerbait that will hold up through multiple fish with good vibration. I know when you get into the heavier wire that vibration is compromised. The spinnerbait I would want it to be compared to would be a Picasso. Does anyone have any recommendations on one that comes through water willow easily as well?

    Thanks,

    Kyle

I have recently started using the Covert series from Booyah. Been very impressed with their durability and true tracking.

My favorite is the Pepper Custom Baits double willow in Gilley.

    Don’t buy the ZMan spinnerbait
Shame as it catches fish but only last for a few fish before breaking

What blade configuration are you looking for? We have willows growing all over Potholes Reservoir (they draw it down about 22' every Fall), while most our Westside lakes have bunches of Milfoil. As a result, I like either a double Willow or Willow/Colorado combination, because either goes through that stuff easier. Recently bought 5 War Eagles in the secret color....which has been discontinued since they sold to Pradco...dammit!

War Eagle's ketch 'em and the Coverts are really nice. Coverts are not gonna be as durable with thinner wire. The Zorro Bango Blades and ol' school Hawg Callers are nice also.

Booyah double willow large gold small silver white 1/2 oz, it’s solid everywhere. Draws bites tracks true bangs rocks rips grass doesn’t catch a ton of snot and rarely need to retie or reblade through multiple bass…no guarantees for striped or bowfin though

War Eagles are somewhat fragile, but man they catch them. I open a new one when I feel like the one I’m throwing has been beat up enough.

I own a bunch of spinnerbaits Paul has made for me. They are excellent! Any color skirt and blade combo you could want, too.

If you like to flip and pitch grass, have him make you up some punch skirts to go along with that order!
