Was this photo taken from a boat? IF so, hand held or some type of support system? I carry a Nikon 7200 with the nikon 200-500l lens. I have yet to see an Eagle in the trees where I can get a good shot. Usually they re flying around. Trying to get the bird in the view finder hand held while fishing for bass is difficult at best. I'm considering a monopod but haven't followed through. Nice shot!

Yes, it was taken from a boat, hand held. Wind was light/variable so it was not too bad. Thanks hypoxic!
