There is a bravo 1 24 in great shape at a reasonable price near me . No vent holes ?

These are my two props for my new boat, but I haven't had a chance to try the Trophy yet. The Bravo is fantastic though.

The bravo has more diameter and will probably take more power to turn given equal pitch compared. So unless you have rpm's to give up it may be to much to turn.

Yes , i have some maybe 200 rpms or so , i figured it would be harder to turn . What about vents ? if harder to turn i might need them even more !

Vents only affect until say 20 mph. I have ready the 150-200 rpm per pitch theory but this one may be 250-300rpm.

If the gear ratio on the 175 is 1.87 the Bravo could work.

I think it will turn just fine, but you will need to have dual PVS holes drilled.

I will have to check if i can have those vents put in up here in canada ,might get the price up to brand new prop price .
But without the holes it would be a good test to try it out knowing that the take off will be slow to see if i can get to max rpm ?

The venting is so important on a large diameter 4 blade, That you may not even get on plane.

The taller the pitch, The more it matters. My best holeshot dual pvs Bravo1 28P would not even get on plane with all solid plugs. Even with my 250+HP motor on my lightweight balsa wood boat. Gear ratio makes a difference too.

I have seen some guys hate an unvented prop, Then after Mark added dual pvs holes, It was their best/favorite.

Thanks guys for the help , i've decided to wait and not get that bravo . Still want to lighten the boat some and will see after that and lowering the motor how it is and see if an other prop is in the future .
