    Question Bunk Carpet

    Hello all,

I need to replace a couple bunks on my trailer this year. I've got a bunch of spare 20oz carpet from when I redid a few compartments on my boat last year. Can I use that for the bunks? Or is there something special about "trailer bunk carpet" and I should I only use that instead?

    Thanks!

Should be just fine if you already have it, otherwise I’d recommend Gatorbaks and get away from the carpet completely

The 20oz carpet will be fine for the bunks.

You want a thin carpet. Carpet holds sand, pebbles etc. So shag wouldn't be a good choice

Not for use on fiberglass hulls. Says that right on the box.

True.... This is going on a 2001 X19... Not too worried.. :) If I had a glass rig, I would certainly use Gatorbaks though...
