How much better is the 3-1 over the standard hdi that comes with it? Im currently running an old Lowrance G2 9" touch at the bow, and finally installing a new Carbon 12 up front. I know that will make a pretty decent upgrade over whats there. Im planning on adding the 3-1 to later be able to use the new 360 update, but curious as to image quality over it, and the standard xducer.

The original is a 2-1 is sonar and downscan. The 3-n-1 is sonar, downscan, and sidescan. Only difference.
