    Ozark National Yesterday

Wife and I played it on her birthday trip to Branson.
Too tough on her and at 6500 yards some holes were too tough on me in the wind.
    42/46 for an 88.
Course is still winter condition and at $200 per person green fee was not near worth it, but the greens were in great shape and putted true.
Beautiful day except for a strong wind.
Today, Buffalo Ridge which is much more user friendly in my opinion.

Ate at top of the rock Monday night. Excellent as usual but pricey as usual too. But it was her birthday.

Even stronger wind Wednesday. Almost blew her hat off in the parking lot.
We cancelled and were happy we did.
Famous Oscar’s baby back ribs with Meaty baked beans, coleslaw and potato salad. Yuuuummmm.
Best ribs I have ever had-again. We always take these home once a trip to Branson.

Played yesterday as well........... very strong wind (should have worn a stocking cap) wet course, cart path only and recently aerated greens.....
Positive take away was getting some exercise and the 19th hole!

Looks like 5 straight days with the same wind! Just skip the first 18 and go directly to the 19th!

It was a fun trip. Just time alone for wife and me is always good.
We crank up the music and have fun with golfing, fishing, pickle ball, dining, dancing or doing whatever is fun at the moment.
We can even have fun on a “wind out” golf cancellation!
