    Side job gig

How many of you do small side jobs or something other than your normal day to day job for extra cash.

I retired 15 years ago at the age of 57 and have been trying to convince my wife to go back to work long enough for me to upgrade my electronics. Unfortunately it ain't working out.

    I'm trying.

No my time is worth more than a side gig would pay.

I've done side jobs in the past in IT, but then I end up with folks thinking their buying access to me while I'm running IT for my employer, so I avoid it now. I do boat setups, electronics and light mechanical on the side, but rarely charge for it. One buddy pays me in hand poured plastics :)
