Been doing some perching and laker fishing. I'll be hitting Cayuga tomorrow for perch and then switching over to bass after lunch. Seeing how it's after midnight, I'm probably not going to box many perch. I see a late start.

I don’t even have my boat out of storage yet… I’ll probably grab it this weekend and hope to get out by mid April

I’ve taken my yak out on a few ponds, a smaller resavoir and I can’t seem to get any luck. I think the waters are still a little cold. I don’t have a fish finder so I can’t see how cold the waters are but I think sometime in the next week the prespawn will be on in most places.

If the stars align then I'll be heading out to Cayuga Lake this weekend. Weather doesn't look too good though.

March 18th was the first trip and we did well for bass. Only been out once since then due to shitty weather. Looks like next week the weather is finally going to break and then it should start getting good.

let me know how you do, been wanting to take my first trip up there. It’s a bit of a trip for me so I’ve been waiting for the right time to head up there.

Taking a 5 hour trip out to Cayuga Sunday to Wednesday. Hopefully the water won't be too "dirty" from the rain..has anyone gone lately?

I've been fishing the Susquehanna in PA for a few weeks now. Planning to head to Waneta/Lamoka or Keuka next week for the first time this year.

I'm betting that with the amount of rain that we got yesterday the water clarity will be somewhat dirty.

I got more than 1.25" of rain yesterday and I live 30 minutes from Cayuga Lake. Secondary streams were raging pretty good still on my way in to work this morning.

I didn’t get out this weekend with the weather being so terrible. Hoping to sneak out this week hopefully if the wind isn’t too high. Tuesday looks nice but 20mph winds.

Looks like it’s going to be another terrible weather weekend again for the third one in a row. The extended forecast doesn’t look any better either.

Anyone been out yet and had any success?

I made it out for my shake down trip Tuesday 4/12 on Lake Erie. I was Perch fishing in 58 fow. Got my first Smallmouth of the year. Wasn't very big and looked anemic real light colored coming from the deep water.

I got out on Waneta for a few hours last Tuesday. Didn't see a bass anywhere. Water temp was still 46°. I did catch a few toothy critters. This guy was nice enough to break two hooks off my jerkbait.

Finally looks like a nice weekend coming up.

They're calling for temperatures in the lower 80's and calm winds. Will be nice to finally get out with the boat. I imagine there will be quite a bit of pressure with it being so nice though.
