    150 Pro XS on a F195?

Anybody know the performance of a Mercury Pro XS 150 on a F195? I ordered a 200 a year ago and it still hasn't come. I'm at wit's end with a boat without a motor I couldn't use for a year. I know some dealers put a 150 on a F195, just wondering the performance. I'm entertaining the idea of bolting on a 150 until I get my 200.

I want to say they did well as they were marketed as an entry boat with the 150. Brian Lattimer I think has a video posted on the 195 with a 150.

I dont have a 195, but I do have a 818 pro, its 18'11" rated for the 175, mine has the 150 pro xs and with a 22p tempest runs 57 or so, 24p tempest plus slows the hole shot slightly runs a bit over 60 and could probably do a bit better than that with some load tuning on the boat. I would think on the 195 given its quite a bit bigger with a 150 you could be 53-55 mph? Depending on the prop etc... I dont think Id take that performance loss if it was me.
