    Pickwick.

    Headed to pickwick for the first time. Will be there 4/7-4/10? What expectations should I have?

    Where are you staying? Lake is 50 miles long and the upper half fishes different than the lower half.

    You have picked a good time to fish. I hope you get on a bite fishing your strengths. The lake can be extra tough on some folks ( me included) to get started on.

    Even if you hate live bait, spend one of those days below the dam drifting shiners. drift current seams and along the bluffs.
    Go to Perkins Outdoors they have the shiners (if you don't catch your own) and they will give you some clues as what to do, they are good guys.
