I have a carbon 12 and a HDS Live 12 on the bow. My AT is connected to the Live which is the lower graph. I've found I prefer the AT screen shared on the "top" carbon unit. Does it matter performance wise sharing it VS using the direct connection? I'm guessing no but thought I'd ask.
No difference. You're not really getting it "live" from the AT transducer anyway. The image is coming over Ethernet to the Live, to then continue over Ethernet to the Carbon, would make no difference at all. With a single caveat, the screen on the Live is supposedly a touch better than a Carbon. Probably not enough for the casual user to notice.
