The mount is attached to the side of the jack plate so there’s no issues with the engine. The small clips were purchased from Amazon.

I haven’t had my boat out yet but I will check it when I finally get out. I have not heard of any issues with it in that spot.

I finished rigging everything except for the Garmin lvs34 that I’m still waiting for. Took the boat out today for the first 2 hour break in.
