I have a pair of 2013 10' blades. I replaced everything on them in January 2021 under partial warranty.
The first warm day I had them out of the garage after the rebuild, a hydraulic line burst on both poles within a 24 hr period. I replaced the lines and they worked fine for the rest of the summer.
1 year later. I pulled my boat out of the garage on a warm day for the first time time this year and had a line burst on one pole. I'm leaving tomorrow for a fishing trip and it's going to be very warm. I do not want to go through this while I'm on the lake, but fear that it's inevitable.
I'm sure it has something to do with incorrect pumps, but I don't understand why it only happens after the first outing on a warm day, then no problems for the rest of the season.
I plan to loosen the connections on the other pole in order to relieve pressure, but not sure if it will help any.
Has anyone else had this experience?
