Just how many rods do some of you carry>

Watched a Bass Pro Shops program this morning and they did a segment on a new Ranger Z520R and he was going over the storage.

    WTF?

Main rod locker could carry about a dozen Plano lure boxes, and then at least 10 rods.

Then the secondary rod box had multiple levels all designated for another dozen rods.

Then you put some on both sides of the deck.

A person could carry a minimum of 30 rods on this thing.

The front deck showed 3 men fishing up front.

I carry 6 on the deck of my Champion and a couple of spinning rods in one of the lockers.

Do people who buy boats like these even come close to carrying that many rods and fish 3 people on the front deck?

I never have more than 6 rods. Most of the time it's just 4 rods. 3 baitcasters, and one spinning.

Have 16 BC setups for me, my son only uses Spinning (4 of those), and if a 3rd goes they bring along 5 max (what my back-rack and rod ramp hold).

Usually around 12. 6 casting, 6 spinning. Honestly even with that I think it’s too much at times.

I fish alone and carry roughly 16 different setups however some rods are only used during the winter. Basically my Port locker is my rod storage year around.

I have a small, old boat(1992 Stratos 274) so with my limited space I only carry about a dozen rods

I have maybe 11 casting rods on port box 6 spinning on starboard, maybe 5 total on deck, DO NOT need that many not fish tx’s, but garage my boat, so where else am I going to keep them? All have reel and Rod wraps and ones that are 10 or more years old have zero rash…

I have a 9 holder in my port side and an 8 holder in my center storage. All filled and one or two laying in center. So, 17 - 20.

I have 16-18 in the box all the time. Some rarely get used, but are there if I need them.

Around 15-18. That new Ranger did away with rod tubes so that is why you can carry so many in the rod lockers. Same can be with any other boat if you take the tubes out.

I'm embarrassed to say I just counted them last weekend. 51 total. 26 in the port locker and 25 in the starboard. I'm surprised I can even get on pad. I have an addiction.......

I carry 20 with more room to carry twice that number. I use up to 7 but mostly 6. So why 20? I also have my wife's and both daughters. The second you take them out you forget to put them back. Then I have to share,
when you see this on the water stop and say hi.

I fish a lot of different water and basically carry the working tackle I have. Typically carry 15-18 bait casters and 8-10 spinning rods and lots of tackle/baits. I like the space to be organized and well laid out.

I currently have 18. Some don't get used often but are there in case.

That's like asking how many golf clubs do you carry.
