55hp tractor doesn't weigh that much, well within the towing capacity of a half ton

Towing capacity doesn’t take into account 2 lane roads and 60 miles through Ozark hills. I’ve towed it with my half ton out of necessity- my current 3/4 ton handles it entirely better, but thanks.

Depends on the tractor, my 52 hp tractor weighs almost 10k with the loader and liquid filled rear tires.

My sons 450 pulled a load with about 32k gcw, and while it wasn't a 6.7, he said it did very respectable.

Not to get this discussion off topic however anyone with the 7.3 experience any plug or plug wire problem?

Is that still an issue? I know the melted wires were a problem on the 2020 and 2021 models, as well as transmission alignment issues. Where it would sound like metal scraping.

My main concern isnt towing a boat. I have a farm an hour from the house and wouldn’t think about towing a 55hp tractor with a half ton.

Better able to write off a vehicle with 8600+ GVW also.
