What is the cluster of Vertical lines at 35'-70' out and 4'-14' deep? I have something like this on my unit at all times as well. At first I thought it was fish on your video, but are they some sort of false image? Can you confirm?
I was inside a Marina around a bunch of docks. The clutter high in the water is just that. Like I said I had no choice due to high winds that day. That was the only place I could get out of the wind. I plan on making another video when I have a day off with little wind. In a way it kinda worked out since it was there and didn’t change in all three versions. My picture is always clean and clear unless I get somewhere like that.

I updated this past weekend and got out yesterday. My first response was literally Wow! The screen was cleaned up nicely. Color gain did help with marks in the distance, 60’ or so out.
Otherwise, same old Livescope. I had ghost tree in 2 spots that I usually get ghost tree due to bright sun and hard bottom. Adjusting some settings, GT Reject, gain, noise, etc. cleaned it up a bit but it was what I was use to. Overall, a welcomed update.
what update version did you go with?
Still running software shown in pic. Don’t have any complaints as I usually don’t mess with things unless there is a problem. Understand updates for my 7612 may be ending so would like to get a few different versions just in case. Anybody have me updates they can email to me? Cactusflyr@hotmail.com.

Nick, too bad you can't update that unit to the latest software.
I will try and get out there Sunday or Monday and compare 2.55, 2.57, 2.58. Hopefully the rain and wind holds off. I got side tracked fishing and catching bigs sorry!
