    Question Adding mega Live

Currently have 4 units on boat Bow Helix 12 and Helix 10, Console 2 Helix 9 units. , Also have 360 mounted. All are networked into the 5 port hub
I am going to add Mega Live and am considering running a separate 12 v lead from one of my 12 volt lithium trolling batteries to power both the mega 360 and The Mega Live. Will not change power feeds to any of the units. Looking for thoughts on why this setup would or would not work.

    Thanks

It sounds like you're just dedicating separate power to the M360 and Live. I see no issues.

Look up the definition of Radio Frequency Interference aka RFI

I would not hook to trolling motor battery. You will more than likely get interference.

Absolutely avoid powering any of your Fishing Electronics through a battery also connected to a trolling motor... even if it is a separate feed from that battery. You are just asking for RFI issues.
