    Turkey chokes?

Trying to decide which choke to get for my 20 gauge Benelli for turkeys. I'll be using Federal Third Degree with Heavyweight TSS 5-6-7 tungsten/lead shot and Heavyweight TSS with 7-9 tungsten shot.

    Who makes the best choke?
    2020 Ranger VS1782 DC
    Mercury ProXS 150
    Garmin 106 Ultra/UHD 93sv
    Ulterra Quest, 115/90

Most chokes out there are pretty good, but they sometimes pattern differently with different ammo. Might be easier to just buy whatever choke you like, and pattern it with your choice of ammo. Don't like the pattern? Buy another choke. Probably cheaper than buying different ammo....LOL

If you're not sure what constriction you want, call'em ............ they good people ..... and I've always been pleased with the Gobblin Thunder and High Flyer. Smokes are good too.

When the scents and scent control gets pulled from the shelves after deer season, that's where the turkey chokes get merchandised.

I'm trying to decide between the Undertaker and the Denogginizer.

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up with a Carlson Benelli TSS Turkey Choke tube, .555 diameter. Now to pattern it and with luck, I'll be ready to go.

Some non chain sporting goods store will let you try out different chokes. My local one did years ago but store is closed. Kicks or Primos Jelly head are just a few. My Browning Bps patterned best with cheap Hasting choke after trying out 4 others.

Found this chart from NWTF for 12 gauge guns with Winchester Long beard XR. Complete article including guns tested: https://www.nwtf.org/hunt/article/ch...-long-beard-xr

You chose wisely! Team that choke with some TSS 9 and you’ll be pleased. Should work well with the 7 also.

The best turkey chokes made are Jeb’s Chokes in GA. You call and tell him your gun and your shells you want to shoot. He sends you the proper choke $110. If it doesn’t do what you want he sends another one to try. They actually hold a world record for the tightest pattern. I’m shooting a Benelli SBE 3 with TSS #9. I went from 96 pellets in a 10” circle at 40 yds with my stock choke to 272 pellets. Unreal. 60 yd shot is a piece of cake with this set up.

Try Old gobbler.com. They’ve done most test for guns and chokes

I run a cheap Undertaker .660 in my Rem 870 and it patterns really well with #5/6 Longbeard XRs.
