I watched the video in german. One point they throw a weight, ball and a float in the water. Appeared to me the dead spot is not there on the new transducer. Looks impressive.

I will wait. I’ve waited this long and was going to jump on board this year. Might as wait to get the newest possible.

Another question for the current guys, sell your "older" LS system and get another or just upgrade transducer and have a spare LVS32, I would think not many will be buying a used LVS32 unless they cut the wires or something like that. Just my guess.....

That was a little underwhelming for me. Better, yes, mind blowing, not mine (at least in that clip). Still could see stitching (not as bad but still could). Which to me means there still could be weak areas? I wanted to be one of the firsts but I think I’ll wait now. $1200 is a lot for the little gain I saw (in the German at least)?

I agree. I’m gonna wait and see when folks start running it here. That’s my biggest concern. The weak spots/dead areas

Yeah not sure, looks like its still there to me. If they didn't fix that, no reason for me to update.

There’s a bunch of new lvs34 videos on YouTube from this guy

    https://youtube.com/channel/UCwRQS87VYK8jgSQg3WtLw7w

Hard to tell how much better it is than the 32 but. Does look good.
Whether it’s worth an upgrade is yet unknown but the Lowrance and hummingbird guys seem to do alright using that junk so maybe I’ll hold out for livescope gen 3

I think people will be able to sell the whole used lvs 32 system for $700-$1000 used, and only be out the $700-$1000 for the full new lvs34 system that has a full warranty vs. paying $1199.99 for a new transducer and perspective mode mount. I think garmin and others are thinking it will only be a transducer upgrade for most people though.

I have to agree with this..... IMO, i'll also say that Garmin made it right by making it work with the existing box instead of having to buy a whole new system again at least for the poeple that already have the system.........
