    Best way to wire a front graph '95 195.....

    I know someone on here knows (Yes, I searched....). My new Carbon's blinky....

    I had to run a dedicated wire back to the battery for my Humminbird Helix. That way It wouldn't shut off when the motor was started.

    This is the best way of doing it. I even did this on the new 210 just to make sure.

    195 should be easy to run the wire down the driver's side. You can pull off the vent cap for more access in the back.

    Got wired from the distribution block on the console to the front. 11.7 volts to the unit. Soon as I put the Nav lights, drops to 10.8. Gonna look up how old the Blue Top actually is.... was in there when I bought the boat.

    Its just a few more feet to the battery. Run it all the way and bypass the "distribution block". It will keep you current higher at the bow and will be less likely to display interference on your graph.

    Figured as much. Battery health and that last few feet of wire are where I go from here.
