Almost went black and blue myself but swore off black on anymore of my boats.

While it looks good, and I love keeping my boats clean ……..straight black gel coat is a mother fu#### to keep pristine. IF you use you boat as a true fishing boat. Now if it’s a garage queen that only sees the water for a cruise once in a while it’s doable.

Definitely was one of my concerns, as it is a bass boat and I like to flip and pitch in the trash as much as anything.

I had it wrapped in clear bra in an attempt to protect the gelcoat. Time will tell.

Smart idea. Black and blue are my favorite colors. Love how your boat came out. Have a lot of those colors on my bass cat but with flake except for the boot. I’m keeping my fingers crossed on that part.

Did you have it wrapped from the rub rail down or the entire hull?

I went rub rail up and over the top cap. Not sure how well it would hold up/stick below the rub rail
