Re-Carpet
I have a 2001 ZX225 that I am cleaning up. Looking to replace the carpeting and leaning towards outsourcing it. Got a quote for 20oz carpet - $2100 with padded front deck and $1800 w/o. Going to seek another quote or 2 but curious from those who may have done it recently if these prices are in line. Thoughts please. Thx.

I do them for my local dealership, and we start at $1500 for a basic redo (will go up after stock role of carpet is gone) and go up from there with special request. Fully padded front deck with material would be $2000 - $2200.

I visited my dealership a couple years ago they had just finished a recarpet. There was also one shown here on BBC. On each, one hatch covering was installed wrong. Make sure they have someone that knows to orient the nap correctly or it looks odd.

That's a fair price for 20oz and front padding.

This guy has done 2 for me. Good work and great price. Your problem is he is in northern TX.
