The late 1960's and early 70's was a time of change in music. At the time I was far too young to follow what was happening. Though I remember the even news and body count from the Vietnam War.

I feel in love with Psychedelic Rock though I missed it by a little more than a decade. As my wife would call it Druggie Music.

Sitting back enjoying Jefferson Airplane and some White Rabbit playing. Funny at the time I never got the meaning of the words.

Anyone else have some favorite groups or songs that came out of the Psychedelic Rock period?

Jefferson Airplane was my intro into Psychedelic Rock so to speak back in '65. Later, when I returned from Nam, it was the Doors, Iron Butterfly and Led Zeppelin. I was a DJ '69-70 on a Rock station, but took a job as Program Director on a Country Station when the Country Music started changing. Stairway to Heaven still my #1, followed closely by Ina Godidivida !!
