couldn't get trim to work on SmartCraft gauge, called Mercury and found out engine equipped with an ANALOG trim sender, really !!!. in 2022! o-well, i won't rant. FYI - something to check for new buyers.

Wonder if your dealer would work out a swap with you for a digital sender?

You're correct- that engine comes with an ANALOG sender (most boats using that size engine would be rigged with Analog gauges).
Fortunately, there is a Digital OPTION now (wasn't always that way on the 40-50-60).
