Mega Live echo returns?

Not sure what they're called-- but the cone shaped echos that appear. I can turn the sensitivity down and it helps but seems I miss a lot of fish returns.
I've seen some shots of others and they appear much better than what I get. Any Tips ?

FNF, didn't you remove the M360? I take it that your live is still on the TM shaft.
Just an ops question, did you shut down other transducers to try to eliminate the pulse wave?
Or anything else to eliminate?

Didn't shut anything else down. But did move cables from trolling mtr bundle to the bracket.
next time out hope to have it mounted on live scanner mount will try shutting other stuff off..

Sorry I do not. May be a week or longer before I get back down to Amistad and the boat.
They are quarter circle lines that start in lower right side of display and travel towards the upper left corner (forward mode) Sometimes they go the opposite but are smaller and less frequent. Turn the sensitivity down and they will disappear about #3--- The higher you go the worse they get. The contrast seems to have no bearing on it.
I've seen it on someone's U-tube video - but I can't find it now. Pretty sure someone on here talked about it also.
using it with a Solix G2 with latest updates.. The trolling mtr doesn't seem to have any effect on the pulse waves.

Have you tried the Mega Live Interference Rejection setting? See attachment. Setting it to 3 fixed mine and I run Mega 360, SI, and DI at the same time I'm running Mega Live.

Interference rejection is what eliminates those rings on mine. I think it’s #5 on mine.

How do you have the ML transducer powered? Is it off the boat harness?

No sir-- It's seperate.
Waynes video above shows exactly what I'm experiencing. Looks like I just need to set the Interference Rejection.

Odd, I have no interference and i installed the choke also. I ran a whole new power cable on the opposite side of the boat for it away from other wires. Curious where all of yours is coming from.

First thing is to realize the difference between RFI and Cross-talk.
RFI= Radio Frequency Interference
Moving wires and cables around has zero to do with Cross-talk, a choke has no effect on Cross-talk.
The video I posted is Cross-talk==two or more sources of sonar pulses overlapping on the same frequency==sonar "interference".
