    Garmin UHD 93SV question?

    Has anyone hooked up their armin to a Ultrex trolling motor and used the bult in transducer instead of the transducer that comes with the Garmin unit? I would rather have the unit hooked up to my Ultrex for less wires but I cant figure out if I can or not as I don't see any info out there about hooking them together.

    Some guys do, but keep in mind that the transducer in the Ultrex is 2d sonar only, no side or down images.....

    I’ve done it and the image is pretty good but, like mentioned, it’s 2d only. You just need an adapter cable. I have one I don’t use anymore somewhere.

    You can use the US2, but it is not going to be as good as the Garmin 2d since this is a universal transducer made to work with all brands. If you decide to use it you will need this us2 adapter cable and a 8 to 12 pin sonar adapter.
