It was also -22 F the other morning in Pointe au Baril, Ontario where our cabin is located.

Same sort of temp range in Northern Maine recently. My neighbor is up there sledding this weekend. He texted yesterday that had a big breakfast and let it warm up to -10 before hitting the trails. Some guys are using heated suits now. IMO if you need a heated suit, that's a sign it's too effin cold!

I went hunting this past week with my oldest and it was 16 degrees. I had a my buddy heater in the blind with me or I would have cried Uncle and went to the truck. I just can’t endure it like I could years ago. Not sure if I was thicker skinned or just madder at them? If it gets into the single Digits here it’s unusual. But only a couple times in 52 years I have seen negative readings. I think being raised and living your life in those conditions make it a little easier. At the same token most people that are accustomed to cold will faint in July here. Also the humidity here is generally a lot higher here. In August it can be like trying to breathe at the bottom of a swimming pool. I guess I am not a big fan of extremes!
