NMEA 1083 between Garmin and Lowrance units

I know this might be a long shot, but I have an older Garmin echomap 73sv that I would like to somehow link to my old Lowrance 113 HD. I just want to be able to post a waypoint from the stern on the Garmin and have it appear on the Lowrance at the bow. Is this possible using NMEA 1083? The Echomap 73sv doesn’t have NMEA 2000 capability that I can find.

You can't share wp's between two different brands.....Even if they were 2022 new units they still wouldnt.......

Only way would to manually transfer waypoints between them via SD card....

You should be able to transfer waypoints between brands via NMEA, but manufacturers choose not to make it work.
