    Lower crank seal

    How does anyone know theirs is leaking.

    +1 ^^^^^^ also may see engine oil leaking and running down front of gearcase , sometimes confused with gearoil leak , seen 3 this week on 3.0L OPTIS , one has had gearcase reseal twice and paid for (not me) , was told they all do it , incompetence abounds

    I pulled my power head and should have changed then, don’t really see any leaks, but about to pull power head again for what seems to possibly be loose mounts, will see, but will be changed then

    I am swapping to a new sportmaster case, mine is a Allison modded case, doesn’t work well on my stroker

    Be sure to order the o-ring AND the two seals (which as you know install "lip down").

    Now I understand the sudden rash of requests for end-caps. Believe they've been on backorder if I remember correctly.
