    Mercmonitor 2 stroke to 4 stroke

    I've got a 2018 mercury 250 pro xs 2 stroke ser#2b532905,I'm putting a 250 pro xs 4 stroke on the boat. Will my mercmonitor connect right up, or do I need some type adapter cable for the 4 stroke

    Yes, it will read the PCM in the new engine. Don can confirm whether you need a different harness.

    Should be able to utilize the same harness, though you WILL need to alter the engine-end of the connector (when you're ready to hook Smartcraft up, drop me an email for details, it's quite simple).

    Reset to Factory Defaults is advised (then setup for the new engine).

    ONE NOTE: There is only ONE tank input on this engine (tank-2 is reserved for "Water in Fuel").
