    Torsion axles

Have a boat mate trailer and I am very interested in replacing mine with torsion axles, any ideas

Is you trailer a single or dual axle? The only Down side to torsion axles in my opinion is the are more expensive than traditional leaf sprung setup.

I replaced two axles (tandem) on a "Rolls Axle" aluminum trailer last Summer with Dexter torsion axles equipped with Vortex hubs.

Researching to find the correct replacement took more time than the actual swap. After all that, found the best price, delivery, and guidance from Ameritrail in St Cloud FL.

After purchase they were shipped diretly to my home address. Replacement itself was fairly easy, replacing one axle at a time.
