I had them change the rod buckles to where they connect on the lid now, like the new R models. I am going to make some small wedge shims so that the buckles align better. They work as is but it will be nicer when they are aligned better.

Does it look like the new placement of the rod buckle tie down will cause wear on the edge of the strap ? I'd like to do that too.

Since the didn’t have a template for a 2008 520, it took about a month of sending templates back and forth to make sure it was all perfect before they cut it. Most places, if they have a template can have the SeaDek done in a couple days. The carpet only took a week.
