One of the most asked questions I get from clients is how good are the Lance Vick Boat Lanes on Sam Rayburn. My answer is "it is the best navigational tool available when the water is normal however there is an area I would amend because it takes you into timber in the Amber Forest." In my latest video, I explicitly show you how to run around this area at the mouth of Harvey through the unofficial secret yet not so secret boat lane that the locals know. This also explains why that boat ran so close to you while fishing up on the flat around Bird Island.
