Ground Round LOL … wife was pregnant with our first daughter, we’re at Ground Round for lunch. She orders a club sandwich. It comes out and the cheese slices are all brown and hard around the edges. She sends it back and they come back out with the same sandwich and you can clearly see where someone picked the crust off the cheese as it wasn’t a straight edge on the slices anymore, it was all scalloped the same size as fingertips Needless to say we walked out without paying. They shut it down pretty soon after. Good riddance.

Place in Kankakee, Il. called The Little Corporeal. Was a cool place and the food was good. Building is still there but now a carryout.

Took my wife to the Ground Round on our first date. Bill,my wife isn’t brown but hard around the edges,maybe a little. I thought it was a NE chain,I guess not.

Fast Food - Burger Chef. We had one here in Dalton, GA that was the end of our downtown cruise loop on weekend nights. Krystal (still there) was at the other end.
Breakfast - Burning Bush in Gatlingburg, TN
Sit Down - Steak and Ale. Loved their Hawaiian chicken, never found anything close to that taste again.

Still is a Bonanza in st cloud mn and when I was in Wisconsin dells a few years ago we ate at a ponderosa.
