Vault Trailer Arm Assembly Stuck to spindle on torsion axle

Was looking for some advice/experience on removing Vault Trailing Arm Assembly from the spindle on the Torsion Axle. I was able to remove the torsion bolt and use a punch in the slot on the left and hit it with some penetrating oil; but it is really corroded/rusted on there. I have not yet taken a torch to it, any ideas for removing this Torsion assembly arm from the spindle? I have an entire replacement vault hub assembly ready to put into service so okay to damage it. I inserted a stock picture from the internet to get a sense of what i am talking about. In short, the arm is seized to the spindle showing in the center of the picture, appreciate any help or advice. torsion_1.jpg

Drive a wedge into the slot and use a gear or hub puller.

Heat it up good a hot, then pour cold water over it while it`s still hot. This should release it with a couple of taps with a hammer.

I had to use a hammer chisel in the slot.
