    carpeting lids-1992 361v

    does anybody have any suggestions or video on cutting corners on carpted deck lids?

    Great corner cutting vid! The only thing I would add is clamps and some wood. Thicker strips of wood are needed or they can bow a little at the corners.

    If you use contact cement there is no need for wood, clamps, weight, etc. Every boat I've done I used the contact cement and they have held up great. It allows you to knock out the lids super quick with minimal wait time.
