    Patching cork handle

Mice have been nibbling on the cork handles
on 2 of my ice rods.
Any tips on how to repair?
Just ate away enough to be aggravating.
    Thx

I have used the plastic wood filler as long as you don't care how it looks.

You can make filler by sanding an old piece of cork and mixing the particles with wood glue.

Wood glue works, wood filler works. I usually just use cork powder and rod finish.

I bet you could make a paste of sanded down cork dust mixed with glue or adhesive, trowel it on the handle then sand it to shape.
