Anyone planning on going to the show this weekend? Went a few years ago and was disappointed with the vendors, walked the show in less then an hour. I am looking for a new pontoon and aluminum rig....don't see too many dealers on the list.

I went once and took my daughter. Must have been 5 or six years ago. Woman at the door gave us half price since I brought my girl.
I still felt ripped off it was so bad then.
I remember the good old days when Bassarama was a huge show.

Thinking back over the last 30 years of Bassarama/Fishing Expo, it is amazing how many years there has been some type of winter precipitation on that weekend. Great fir show attendance I guess, as many avoided the water and woods and shop while thinking about warmer weather.

Maybe they should try having it in late August when its 100 degrees outside and fish are in their typical summer funk anyway.

I remember when it was at the Richmond Racetrack...we always had a big group go there...made a great weekend away during the winter

I went to the boat show. It was mostly pontoons and pleasure boats with a few center consoles thrown in. Pretty much a waste of time and $10.
There is another boat show at RIR the end of February. I think it's called the Richmond family boat show.
