Update with FishSmart app?

App won’t let me update, gives me a technical issue updates are temporarily disabled message, anyone if this temporary or should I update manually? Thanks

They better hope they don’t create another card reader bug/update

I had one of the Solix 10’s that got the update that killed its ability to read the SD cards and the only way to do the update/fix was with the FishSmart app

Took more than 3 hours for that update to load using the app

This sucks because my Solix 10 won't read the SD cards in either slot. Won't read a map chip either. I just got my mega live and can't use it unless I move my 12 to the front.

Only fix is to send it in to HB

I'm sure you can talk them into doing the fix for free but the cost to ship it there insured isn't going to be cheap

NO, There is no known SD problem on the last Solix update

I forget what update it was but it was at lease a couple updates ago

and it only effected the 10" Solix

Update 3.890 had the bug and it was update 3.900 that had the fix for the issue with the 10's

I believe I read somewhere it was at least sometimes failing mid update and bricking the units. Didn’t have much choice but to disable.

What is the normal turn time for the units?

They have a very fast turnaround most times they take a couple days and its an its way back to you

Here is something I didn't notice before and may help you fix your issue

The only difference between 3.900 and 3.890 is a fix for SD card readers issues on the SOLIX 10 “G1”.
•If you are already running 3.890 on a SOLIX 10 G1, you will have to insert two SD Cards into the SOLIX 10 at the same time before boot time to work around the issue.
•One card must include the 3.900 update
•Install the 3.900 update from the Files Tool on the Home Screen.

I have the 3.900 but I would try the latest update it might have the fix in it

Using two chips at the same time worked like a champ. The update is good. I will see if it reads just a map chip later. Dang storm came through.
