    Oil Tank Wrench

My oil tank cap threads fit very tight on the cap, making it difficult to loosen by hand. The limited space makes it difficult to use a large channel lock wrench. So I bought a self adjusting oil filter wrench from Harbor Freight. It works great for loosening the cap, but will not tighten.

I like these these . And will tighten and loosen. But my tank sets in the middle of the bilge on the center plate in front of the Charger.

Yep. Stap wrench works wonders and requires no other tool (a ratchet) to function. Cheap and plastic so if it rattles around in the bilge compartment it won't arc across my batteries

Those strap wrenches are Great! I bought some because I can’t open jars anymore, my wife gave me trouble when I came in with them but the first time she wanted a jar open, she was impressed!

I need this one from the OP for my dodge 5.4 liter to change the oil. Freaking engineers that designed this stuff don’t have to use it!!!!!

I have been meaning to get some kind of wrench for years now . I just keep using a C-clamp that opens big enough to fit over the cap
