I think he means we are a little short on giving advice about our hot spots and our secret baits.

Keep a close eye on the weather. A fisherman drowned in rough water there about a month ago
Thanks for the good advice. I’ve fished it enough to know how it can get. If you get a strong north or south blow, it can really build up and get pretty dang nautical. They pulled a couple children out of Ouachita yesterday with their life jackets on. Pray for them and their families. Horrible tragedy.

I'm a little tight lipped myself. When you find that one bait and presentation out of dozens that's magical you don't want anyone else doing it. That said, my hot bait for Fall 2020 didn't seem to work for Fall 2021 on Maumelle but it was similar in ways but a different action so every year is at least a little different just about everywhere. All about time on the water and being willing to try different things until something sticks.

That is terrible. Ouachita can be a real bear at times.

I cant believe someone would come on here for fishing advice.
No way I would believe it if someone offered it to me.

Had the boat in the water two times last year, one day in May at Cricket Creek on Table Rock (in AR) to try out my new Ultrex and the day before and the day of the Toyota Owners Tournament in October on Table Rock. Garage door broke late in the year and didn't bother to get it fixed until last week. Woke up early Saturday and stripped line off several reels, respooled, and the wife and I headed to Bull Shoals around 2:00. Made some casts but didn't really fish much mostly scanned some areas and cruised a little bit until dusk but man if felt so good for the two of us to finally get back out on the water. Unfortunately Sunday was 20-30 mph winds so I got yard work out of the way. She has Good Friday off and I'm going to take a vacation day so we can spend the full day on the water as the weather is supposed to be good and hopefully we'll get back out again Saturday and/or Sunday. I can't wait!! Not having crazy amounts of rain yet this year it looks like Bull Shoals may stay at normal levels this year instead of being 30-50 feet high like the last 3 years and we can stay on it because I absolutely despise Table Rock during the summer.

Heading most likely to Bull Shoals next week if my son can get some time off at work. Never been there, any advice on best areas of the lake to launch, hazards to avoid, etc? Feel free to PM me too if you prefer. TIA

I always like Bull Shoals boat dock, but Jim or Chad should be along to give better opinions.
