    Lower unit compatibility?

    Does anyone know if a 07 225 hpdi lower unit will work with an 03 250 hpdi? Anything to look for? Thinking of grabbing for a spare. Thanks.

    My 03 is a vz model. Not sure on the 225.

    A 2003 VZ225TLRB and a 2007 VZ225HTLR share the same part number lower unit. Plug and play.
