    Ghost 360 and active target

With 360 now available. With 2 bow graph's would it be possible to run 360 on one and active target on the other or would there ne too much interference?

If you can stand the AT sweeping back and forth while the 360 makes it’s scanning sweeps, I doubt they would accoustically interfere with each other.

Oh yeah, I wasn't thinking of that.

I am interested to try it next weekend. I installed the software this morning and have the 360 set on the bottom HDS live 12 and the AT on the top HDS live 12. I know previously when I ran the #n1 on the Ghost on the bottom graph and the AT is on the top, I could see the 3n1 pinging on the AT. I usually turn off the 3n1 to clean up the AT image. Is there a wiring issue if I am seeing the pinging fromt eh 3n1 on the AT. I do have the AT on a separate mount, the Live Scanner.

Unlikely it’s electrical. More likely acoustic. The frequencies are probably close enough to interfere with each other.

I get interference on my AT all the time when I have side and down scan turned on. In fact, I usually don't post video recordings of my Active Target because I don't want to hear crap from viewers who blame Active Target and say it is worse than the competition. I choose to allow the interference sometimes when I want both running, and I don't mind the interference at all because it doesn't affect my ability to find or catch fish. But to listen to some on the internet, you would think anything less than a sterile screen is a "problem". Over many years I have learned I see more valuable data by cranking sensitivity up until just before it blocks my image, and running sidescan and Active Target together will cause interference on the AT Screen. SideScan and DownScan run at frequencies that are picked up by Active Targer, and Ghost 360 will do the same.
