    Quick check on set up?

    Hello all,

Trying to get my new bow setup figured out and just need a check on the wiring.

I am running a Helix 12 di chirp graph, an external Di transducer , a non mega 360 and an i pilot link Ultrex with Us2.

since the i pilot and 360 are Ethernet plugs I assume I need to plug them to a hub then to the graph?

also is it possible to have 2d from the us2 and di from the external transducer on the unit?

thanks for the help and have a good day!

If you want a display, iPilot LINK, and 360 networked, all three have to be connected to an AS ETH 5PXG Ethernet Switch.

Which generation Helix 12 DI CHIRP unit?

Yes that is a first generation. It CHIRPs 2D sonar.

If you put the DI transducer on the trolling motor, it makes no sense to also connect the US2 and deal with two transducer cables and a Y cable.
It is best to use a trolling motor puck version DI transducer since those have extra internal shielding to help with possible RFI issues.
    There are two choices:
XTM 9 DI 25 T does the same frequencies as the transom DI transducer=200/455 kHz 2D sonar and 455/800 kHz Down Imaging.
XTM 9 WIDE DI 20 T does 83/200 kHz 2D sonar and 455/800 kHz Down Imaging.

Ok did not know if it was worth the hassle to have the two sonar options.

Since I have to run a the switch can I just run a cable to my console unit to network them it’s a 0E4D8984-7E67-492F-9745-CD72C07E35A2.jpeg?

You would not have two 2D sonar options with a menu setting.

Yes you can Ethernet that unit to the Switch also and share data.

Quick question for those that know, is the AS EC QDE the correct adaptor to connect to my non mega 360 directly to my helix 12? Thanks

Yes you need the adapter and an Ethernet cable between the 360 and Helix.

Thanks Wayne, I have the cable I have screwed on to the stud on the back of my 1197, so the new adaptor should be all I need until I get a full network set up

Yes, that adapter is used with the XX9 and newer units for the quick disconnect feature of the cables.
