Seems the worst is going to stay west of my area. Cold rain is pretty much it. Had brief snow showers earlier, but changed over around 11:00 …. Whew!

Not bad here... had 1/2 inch of snow with some sleet and freezing rain on top got slick for a while. Just long enough to made a couple grand. Now all is good.

My neighbors had the right idea, they went for a boat ride in the snow and it wasn’t hot chocolate in the cup.

Well, my power is now out as of 9:35.
Snowed most of the day and turned to sleet about 4pm . Here we go again.

We got about 8” as of now and it’s starting to sleet. Hopefully the central part of the state doesn’t get as many power outages as a couple weeks ago. Y’all stay safe out there.

Power back on . We got about 3 inches of snow and close to 2 in sleet.
I had my backpack leaf blower out yesterday blowing off my deck, walkways and cars so I did not have a lot of work today.
hopefully it will get above 32 in the next hour so some melting can begin

Have you considered a whole house generator?

Installed one in 2007. Runs basic power, well pump, septic pump system, refrigerator, freezer in my basement, and hot water heater and microwave. Does not run my hvac system. I do have gas logs . I can watch satellite tv and have the basic creature comforts of life. Still a pain in the butt and I have burned about 350 gallons of propane in the last 2 weeks. I have it on a 500 gallon propane tank.’with propane prices today, it’s going to hurt my wallet to refill the tank.

Mine is 20 kw and runs my heal pump/ac and everything in house and garage. But I have a small house. And, yes, propane is durned expensive! I also have a 500 gal tank.
