    Humminbird 998c Clock not working

The clock on my 998 was intermittent and then stopped working altogether. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix this issue?

Time may have run out on the 998! Sorry. Ranger Tim is probably on the right track. You need a working GPS with a fix to get the time to work. Bob

Did you get a GPS fix? could be the connector (bent or broken pin).

I went ahead and downloaded the software again and it is working (at least for now). My last 2 times out I did not have a GPS fix, which was just a more recent issue. Fingers crossed it sticks. Thanks!

Good luck. I have a unit which they don't fix anymore as well. Even at the higher prices to fix it is nice to have that option. I am saving for a new unit in the future in case. Good luck with yours. Bob
